Studies have shown that individuals on the autism spectrum and those with other neurodevelopmental differences, such as ADHD and learning disabilities, often face significant barriers when it comes to accessing appropriate psychiatric care. These barriers can include a lack of accommodations or support in clinical settings and a lack of understanding or knowledge about autism and other neurodivergencies. Many individuals report experiencing a lack of empathy and understanding from mental health professionals, as well as a lack of awareness about their unique challenges and experiences. This can lead to a sense of frustration and isolation for neurodivergent individuals, and can make it difficult for them to build trusting relationships with mental health care providers.

It doesn't have to be that way.

Unique individuals deserve health care that is tailored to their specific needs and goals.
